These new paintings explore the interplay of pattern, movement, and light, using the luminous qualities of resin to bring energy, depth, and vibrancy to each work.

Vessels: Holding Light is the second chapter in an ongoing series exploring what we carry within us and the quiet ways our experiences shape who we become.

In this series, the vessel is a metaphor for the human experience. It speaks to our capacity to hold memory, hope, love and change; to gather the people, places and moments that leave a lasting imprint on our lives. Created through a meditative process of layering pattern, light and resin, each painting reflects the quiet rhythm of making, inviting stillness, presence and reflection.

Luminous threads of gold weave through layered geometric forms, creating a visual dialogue between the works. More than a decorative element, the gold becomes a language of strength, hope, resilience and connection; its shifting light evokes the energy that flows through us and the light that endures within us.

The reflective surfaces gather and release light throughout the day, allowing each painting to shift with their surroundings and the viewer's perspective. As light changes, new layers emerge, reminding us that growth, like light, is never fixed but continually unfolding.

Within the wider conversation of Visual Chorus, these works celebrate the strength we find in connection, the hope that carries us through life's changing seasons, and the unseen threads that bind our stories together. They invite us to reflect on what we carry, what connects us, and the light we share with others.
